Almora:
Almora is a cantonment town in the state of Uttaranchal, India. It is considered the cultural heart of Kumaon.Famous for its rich cultural heritage, unique handicrafts and magnificent wildlife, coupled with an easy accessibility, Almora promises its tourists a visit full of fun and unforgettable moments. Almora is also called a town of temples. Situated in the centre of the town is the temple of Goddess Nanda Devi, The town of Almora is situated over a horse saddle shaped ridge of a mountain. The eastern portion of the ridge is known as Talifat and the western one is known as Selifat. The market is at the top of the ridge where these two, Talifat and Selifat jointly terminate.

Auli:
Auli Also known as a skier’s paradise, Auli has one of the best slopes in the world facilitating Himalayan Trekking in India. The 3km long slope ranges from 2519 m to 3049 m offers a magnificent panoramic view of great Himalayan peaks like the Nanda Devi(7817m), Kamet(7756m), Mana Parvat(7273m) and Dunagiri(7066m).

Adiguru Shankaracharya on his visit to Uttarakhand had founded Joshimath which is 47 kms from Badrinath and this snow-covered mountainous region is well known for its winter sports, especially skiing. Right in front of Auli, is one of the highest peak, Nanda Devi. Along with it can be seen the Hathigauri, Neelkanth, Comet and Eravath mountains.

Kausani:
Popularly known as Switzerland of India, Kausani  is famous for it's breathtakingly close view of the Himalayan Peaks and it's solitudes and greenery. The wide expanse of the famous Katyur Valley lies in front of it as you wake up to experience the Kausani sunrise. Pinnath (10KMs), Bura Pinnath (5KMs) and Bhakot are the highest points near Kausani.

Haridwar:
Haridwar is a holy city in the state of Uttaranchal. Known as the Gateway to the Gods, Haridwar is considered one of the seven holiest places according to Hindus. Here pilgrims float diyas on the Ganges, to commemorate their deceased ancestors. The city also stands as a gateway to three other important pilgrimage destinations: Rishikesh, Badrinath, and Kedarnath. In Haridwar you will see a great statue of Shiva at the fork of the river.

Haridwar has very rich ancient religious and cultural heritage. In the ancient scriptures of India, this place is well known by the name of Mayapur. Besides this, Kumbh fair is organized at the interval of every 12 years in this city in which about 1 crore pilgrims from all over the world participate.

Mussorrie:
The queen of hills, the city with Mall is an ideal hill station. Think hill stations, think Mussoorie. Mussoorie is very popular with tourists for its foggy hills and cool winds.  Located in the Garhwal hills at an altitude of 2,000 m, Mussoorie is spread on a 15 km-long saw-toothed ridge 34 km north of Dehra Dun. It commands a breathtaking view of the extensive Himalayan snow ranges in the north-east and the Doon Valley in the south. It has everything one expects from a typical hill station - scintillating views of the valleys below, snow-capped mountains, a Mall, a skating rink and wonderful swirling mists.

Nainital:
Nainital is a beautiful hill station located in the Kumaaon region in Uttarnchal. Nainital is an ideal holiday destination for summers. There are so many options to enjoy this lovely place, you can take sight seeing tours, boat cruise at lake or can enjoy sailing & parasailing, visit the temples, or can go for horse riding, or can have round of golf with friends and you can also do trekking

Ranikhet:
Ranikhet is the place which wonderfully mirrors best of the heavenly Himalayas; their lush green forest, magestic mountains delicate plant life and attractive plant life. To view nature and its elements in full harmony the right place is to be is Ranikhet. According to the popular belief this place had won the heart of Rani Padmini, queen of Raja Sudhardev. She chose this scenic to be her adobe and since than it has come to be known as Ranikhet, literally QUEENS Feild. At an altitude of 1829 mtrs above sea level, this hill resort is undoubtedly a tourist’s paradise.

Rishikesh:
Rishikesh is one of the best located pilgrimage centers along the right bank of the Ganga. The holy river emerging from high mountains not far from here, runs deep and silent through the thickly wooded hills of the Tehri that straddle this region. A breathtaking experience of natural beauty and undiscovered wildlife await here. Today Rishikesh has become a center for learning and research in yoga and meditation- the renowned Indian methods for mental and physical health. The week-long International Yoga festival which attracts participation from all across the world is held here annually in the month of February on the banks of serene Ganga.
